The Wizard of Oz

When the strongest hurricane took Dorothy's small house and her dog Toto away, the girl could not even imagine what an amazing country they would end up in. Here, magical plants bloom, strange creatures inhabit the land, and there are even real wizards.

To return home, Dorothy and Toto will embark on an interesting journey full of perilous encounters. Along the way, they will gain new friends, each of whom has a cherished dream. But the closer they get to their goal, the clearer it becomes that the most valuable treasures are wisdom, courage, and kindness. And we can always find them not somewhere far away in a magical land, but within ourselves.

The amusing illustrations by Chinese artist Xue Jin sparkle with magic and complement the wonderful world created by writer L. Frank Baum.
