Writing Practice for Children with Disabilities

Writing is a complex skill for children to master. Without special preparatory work, not every normally developing child can learn it right away, let alone a child with limited health capabilities (LHC). Special studies show that mastering the writing skill for children with LHC is associated with difficulties due to underdevelopment of general and fine motor skills, weakness of emotional-volitional regulation, etc. This writing practice is structured so that an adult (teacher or parent) can organize the process of preparing the hand of a child with LHC (TNR, ZPRR, ZPR, behavioral disorders) to master writing skills, taking into account the educational needs of children in this category.
