To the Little Musician: Musical Alphabet: Part II

This collection is a methodological manual designed for teaching 4-5 year old children to play the piano. All musical material is published for the first time. The lyrics of the songs are vivid and accessible in content. Due to the peculiarities of child psychology at this age, the author considers it inappropriate to overload the musical text with unnecessary signs, therefore the songs lack rests that do not have melodic significance. Fingerings and articulations are not indicated since, depending on the set goal and individual characteristics of the child's hand structure, the options may vary. The use of the teacher's part is not mandatory and serves as a harmonic supplement to the melodies. The proposed rhythmic exercises can be one of the options for working on rhythm development.
