Paris in the second half of the 19th century – a dazzling capital, a city of fulfilled hopes and dazzling luxury. This is how it once greeted the enterprising young man, a master of commerce and a favorite among women,... Octave Mouret, whose motto was "conquer women, and you will conquer the whole world!".
