The Crime Scene

Colonel of the Ministry of Internal Affairs Lev Gurov arrives at a performance of the puppet theater, which has come to Moscow for a tour. Suddenly, in the midst of the performance, the auditorium fills with a sleeping gas, causing the audience, including Gurov, to briefly lose consciousness. When they wake up, the spectators see the artistic director hanging on stage with a sign on his chest: «The theater demands sacrifices!» The colonel begins an investigation on the hot trail. He understands that the perpetrator has not managed to leave the theater. But how to identify him when all the participants of the performance and the staff are equally disguised, and the surveillance cameras are out of order? The detective dismisses one suspect after another, realizing that he is getting closer and closer to the real murderer...
