Pike

Cousins, thirteen-year-old Kostya and six-year-old Tyomka, come to their grandmother's village for the summer. For both boys, a lot has changed. Tyomka cannot understand where grandfather has gone, why adults only respond with the strange word "left". Kostya absolutely does not want to spend the summer in the wilderness with his grandmother and younger brother.

One day, the brothers find themselves at the lake where grandfather loved to fish, and discover a large pike in the water, right by the shore. Tyomka persuades Kostya to try to catch it...
