Tales of the Enchanted Land

The cycle "Poems from the Scarlet Book" narrates the adventures of Tom Bombadil, a well-known character from "The Hobbit," and introduces the reader to the magical world of Middle-earth: with dwarves, trolls, elves, and other strange creatures – characters from the legends of Old England, whom Tolkien's genius endows with romantic and comedic traits.

Also included in the collection is the wonderful tale "Roverandom," written by J.R.R. Tolkien for his children in 1925. After the success of "The Hobbit" in 1937, it was prepared for publication, but it only saw the light of day in 1998, when the author was no longer alive.
