The Chariot of Time

Could Katya Petrovskaya, an employee of the Press Service of the Moscow Region Department of Internal Affairs, imagine what horrific events were ahead related to such a simple, at first glance, murder of a driver from a wealthy home in... a dark alley by the train station? But at the Coastal Police Department, Major Lily Beloruchka did not consider this case simple; something was troubling her. Two murders that had occurred recently in Moscow. Apparently, there was no connection, except that all three victims were shot with a "TT" pistol and no cartridges were found at the crime scene. When it was revealed that the murdered driver worked for Zhenya Kochergina, with whom Katya was friends in childhood, Captain Petrovskaya decided to help Lily with the investigation. And now Katya accidentally runs into her childhood friend, who invites her for the weekend to a country mansion where the whole family is supposed to gather over a cup of tea. But why does every family member shamelessly lie about that last day when their driver was shot?..
