Board game - Who betrayed us?

The traitor is somewhere among you… Be careful!

New York. The mafia clans are tired of the eternal struggle for territory and have decided to choose a single leader — the head of the mafia. The election will take place at the Grand Council. But even before it begins, it became known that there are informants among the mafia members who secretly leak information to FBI agents in hopes of becoming Dons, even if they are not chosen by the other clan members. Who is a loyal member of the mafia, and who is a traitor? How will the Grand Council end? Who will gain power over the city? Answers to these questions await you…

How to play?

It becomes interesting from the very beginning, as players don't just get roles… The deck with roles is taken to another room. On top are the traitor cards. Players take turns going into the room with the deck and flipping over the top card. Then the following happens:

— If it is a traitor card, the player decides whether they want to be one or not.

— If it is a blank card, the player returns it back to the deck face down. This player is not a traitor.

After everyone returns from the adjacent room, the discussion begins. In this phase, all players make their guesses about who might be the traitor. All players, without exception, have seen the top card in the deck. The contents of this card can be named. What is said can be either true or false. Everyone knows how many traitors are in the game; they just need to guess who they are. Once the discussion is over, the voting phase begins.

In this phase, there will be bets on the traitor, doubling authority in case of a correct guess, etc. There is also a Bank that participants can divide among themselves during the game. At the end of the game, everyone counts the total amount of authority tokens. The player with the highest total wins — they become the Don of the mafia.
