Four Steps in Delirium

2002. The life of the law-abiding hotelier and undercover spy Alex Kopylov is going smoothly. However, Alex's restless nature craves more, and he is constantly preoccupied with the thought of how to financially undermine the States. Time and again, he... appeals to his senior colleagues: give me the latest dead-end military development, which would take the 'mattress people' two to three years and a couple of billion 'greens' to work on. But suddenly, everything changes overnight. Petr Zatsepov in Moscow receives an unsigned note: 'You will be killed slowly.' The mattress people offer Kopylov a directive to relocate to Moscow and organize an equivalent of the 'Biremy' club, only in a fivefold size. Additionally, Alex must tackle capturing an old nemesis who has caused him quite a bit of distress. And when Kopylov succeeds in this, new circumstances compel him to collect debts from one millionaire to another. Now, Alex's entire life is moving in four parallel courses...
