Neyvanskaya Tower

For Akinkhiy Demidov, the famous industrialist, the year 1735 turned out to be the most difficult. The family was torn apart by enmity, reaching the point of murder. The government investigation into tax arrears threatened ruin, and suspicions that Demidov was minting counterfeit money did not dissipate. Count Biron, the favorite of the empress, extorted a huge bribe. The mining chief Tatischev organized a raid on the schismatics - the main force of the Demidov enterprises. And the final blow was the shutdown of the Neyvansk factory - the 'capital' of the industrial empire: the factory was attacked by a demon, burning the workers.
