Dune. Ixians and Tleilaxu. War, Diplomacy and Betrayal (expansion)
Ixians and Tleilaxu — key forces of the Imperium
Ixians and Tleilaxu have always played an important role in the economy and politics of the Imperium. Once, the royal family of Ix thrived in luxury, until one day Tleilaxu, with the support of imperial Sardaukar, invaded their planet. Years later, the Ixians managed to regain their independence with the help of House Atreides — and since then, both factions have become irreconcilable enemies.
Rivalry, diplomacy and betrayal
The Dune expansion. Ixians and Tleilaxu. War, Diplomacy and Betrayal introduces two new factions into the game — Ixians and Tleilaxu, each of which adds unique mechanics, tactics and ways to struggle for power.
Tleilaxu
A reclusive, fanatical, and xenophobic people governed by the Council of Masters. They evoke distrust and hatred from other Houses, but their genetic engineering and biological technologies make them extremely valuable… and dangerous. Behind a facade of diplomacy, Tleilaxu hide ambitions to establish their own control over the Imperium.
Ixians
Led by Prince Rombur of House Vernius, the Ixians are unmatched masters of advanced technologies, the creation of which is unavailable to anyone in the Imperium. Their inventions can radically change the course of any war, and their industrial power provides significant advantages in the long game.
Political intrigues and new strategies
With the arrival of two new factions, fresh mechanics, large-scale intrigues, risky alliances, and unconventional paths to victory come into play. This expansion significantly enhances the strategic depth of 'Dune' and allows the unveiling of new potential in the struggle for power on Arrakis.
This is an expansion! The base version of Dune. War, Diplomacy and Betrayal is required for gameplay.
