Seven Ravens

January 1995. Veneto region. In a godforsaken village among the impregnable Venetian Alps, a mutilated body of a local teacher with torn-out eyes is discovered. The police of the nearest town assign Inspector Zoe Tormen — daughter of a race car driver, a mountaineer, and a lover of grunge style — to go to the crime scene accompanied by the pathologist, a prim and elegant Alvise Stella: it seems like a killer is on the loose. But the reality turns out to be much worse — soon a second victim appears, then a third… And all the bodies are shredded by the beaks of ravens, a dark cloud circling over the village…
