Beverly Clark hates Christmas for many reasons. This year, she especially does not want to come home. Besides competing with her older sister for their parents' attention, she will have to endure her mom's comments and overbearing nature, compete with the neighbors for the most beautifully decorated house on Greenwood Lane, and outshine everyone in Christmas caroling. Plus, she needs to somehow justify the lies, as Beverly has been lying about her personal life for the past few months, and now her family wants to meet her amazing boyfriend. Beverly turns to her friend, Kaiden McKee, one of the hottest guys on campus, and asks him to play the role of her boyfriend for Christmas.
