A story from twenty years ago intrudes ruthlessly into the relatively prosperous life of the heroes. Ksenia and Shatunov have known each other for a long time, and they share more than one secret. Once they met, they became fated for each other. And now Ksenia is in danger - she has gotten too close to uncovering an old crime. But someone does not like this at all. Shatunov tries to save her but is late, barely avoiding a trap himself and realizing that they have been... targeted. He tries to find out who is behind this to get revenge for Ksenia's death.
