At the Medici Court

Spring of 1468. Young Lorenzo, a representative of the noble Medici family ruling in Florence, has no say over his own destiny. Lorenzo is in love with the beautiful Lucrezia Donati, but by his father's order, he marries Clarissa Orsini... to further solidify the power of the Medici clan.
 
The arranged marriage immediately shatters dreams of happiness, so Lorenzo is set against Clarissa and can respond to her love only with cold politeness.
