Upper World. Book 1. The Children of Cronos

In Minsk, alongside ordinary people, live inomorphs — monsters from Belarusian mythology. They are kept in check by monsterologists who protect the city. Zhenya Brazhnik plans to join their ranks. At the same time, he runs a true-crime podcast "Criminal... Misanthrope," where he talks about crimes related to inomorphs. Suddenly, an earthquake strikes the city, after which Zhenya's classmate goes missing. At the same time, Zhenya receives a diary from a stranger, which mentions a girl who disappeared twenty years ago. Public opinion was divided at that time: did an inomorph or a maniac abduct the girl? Zhenya realizes that the two abductions are connected and begins his own investigation.
