Poison, Gunpowder, Lady's Pistol

Moscow, 1915.

Young military surgeon Alexey Euler returns from the front and goes to the mother of a friend he couldn't save. But she unexpectedly confesses to him that she killed her own husband… Soon, another murder occurs, and Alexey is accused of it. To defend himself, he is forced to start investigating the case on his own. A journalist from a sensationalist publication insists on partnering with him. It turns out that things are not so simple, and the hero faces a choice: expose the murderer or end up in hard labor himself.
