In the Valley of Lotuses

The life of the village with the poetic name Lotuses, whose main attractions are the tree-like Chinese hibiscuses and the Sunday market, where people from surrounding villages gather, dramatically changes with the arrival of the new authorities. The changes brought about by the 'Cultural Revolution' affected all the villagers: for some, it became a ticket to a new life, while for others, it was a difficult life trial.
