Board Game - Black Book

A long time ago, several centuries back, in the Perm province, in the Cherdyn district, a certain mystery took place: four noble sorcerers appeared in Cherdyn, who were commanded by the great Black Book but did not succumb to it,... refusing the temptations to appropriate its power and wreak havoc across the world. Instead, they decided to do good – to tame the local demons that had become too unruly, communicate with the house spirits, listen to their complaints, and relay them to the hosts.
But one day, the road of adventure called them forth. This happened when suddenly steamships began to whistle on the rivers, endless railroads woven from metal stretched out, and the air became slightly heavier – and the discontented evil spirits crawled out of their dens, threatening the world’s balance and human life. And the power of the Black Book called to the noble ones, and the magical words froze on the tip of their tongues, and our heroes set out to do even more good – to save the district from all kinds of mischief...
"Black Book" is a cooperative game set in a Slavic setting, taking place in the final years of the 19th century in the Cherdyn district of the Russian Empire, following the events of the video game of the same name. You will take on the roles of nobles – sorcerers who wield the mysterious power of the Black Book. You will embark on 6 captivating stories that will open up a world where ancient sorcery astonishingly combines with the beginnings of technological progress that has reached the land. Follow the weaving of the plot, but create your own story – make difficult decisions, develop your character, and get to know the residents of Cherdyn better – from people to various creatures that inhabit it.
