1970. The quiet life of the provincial Plyevsk is suddenly disrupted by a series of brutal murders. All the victims are inconspicuous men who have recently moved to the town. This is precisely what alarms Senior Lieutenant of the Criminal Investigation Department Pavel Boldin: what attracted the killer to these simple working men?
