Then, a handsome lawyer, William Thompson, is arrested in connection with the case. Hannah thinks of nothing better than to write him a letter. But she never expects that William will reply to her... And with each new letter, Hannah becomes more and more fond of him.

An unexpected twist in the case leaves no doubt in the jurors' minds: William is not guilty. Now the lovers can start their life anew. But new evidence pointing to his involvement in the murders forces Hannah to take the investigation into her own hands to find out if her boyfriend is really a serial killer.
