What is good? Poems for children

This book includes 9 poems by the wonderful Russian poet-innovator Vladimir Mayakovsky. For the first time in children's literature, very important things are expressed so simply, brightly, and rhythmically: for example, the necessity of learning (“The History of Vlas – the lazybones and sluggard”) or the ability to distinguish good from evil and act correctly (“What is good and what is bad?”). The creation of a wooden horse (“Fire-horse”) under the poet's pen transforms into an exciting process that instills respect for labor in young readers, while the poem “Whatever the page - it’s an elephant, or a lioness” gives a feeling of a fun and interesting walk through the zoo.
