Alexey Okryugin is a winemaker who achieved everything on his own. He has his own vineyards and wineries scattered around the world. He mainly lives abroad, with only his grandfather remaining in Russia. Alexey returns to the town of his childhood upon learning of the death of Makari Ivanovich. Regretting that he missed the funeral, he heads to the house where his grandfather lived and worked as a guard for the last few years.
