Evenings at the Zoo

What happens in the city zoo after seven o'clock, when the tall iron gates are locked? As soon as all the keepers and workers go home, the animals and birds are left to their own devices. And then they, promise... not to be scared? – visit each other, read books, play football, and celebrate holidays. Yes, that's right! The zoo director does not particularly like such liberties, but what can he do? He has to turn a blind eye to many things. He can't, after all, not allow the tiger Mars to visit his best friend – the bear Sam? Or forbid the giraffe Grafina to read bedtime stories to all who want to listen?
So much interesting stuff happens in the zoo in the evenings! It's a pity that people are not supposed to know about it. Although this book gives a little glimpse behind the curtain of mystery…
