The Incredible Future of Alex Zero-without-stick

Alex — the most ordinary girl. Teachers call her «zero without a stick» and predict a mundane future for her. And she does not argue: after all, there is really nothing special... about her.
 
Only on the day of her birth, a whole crowd gathers at the maternity hospital. Strangers on the streets openly gawk at Alex and sometimes even ask her for autographs. At the school play she participates in, the hall is packed, and during lessons, someone is constantly peeking through the classroom windows.
 
Alex is sure that she is being confused with some celebrity. Otherwise, why are all these people so interested in her? She is completely unremarkable.
 
But one day, right before Alex's eyes, her only friend is kidnapped. Trying to find him, she discovers that time travel is possible. Now she must embark on a journey to the future to save her friend and find the answer to the mystery of her entire life.
