The perfect marriage of Sutton and Ethan Monkler is not as wonderful as it seems. They appear to be a magnificent couple: beautiful, smart, wealthy, two incredibly successful writers in a luxurious mansion in Tennessee.... But behind the shiny facade lies an ugly truth. One day, Sutton disappears, leaving her husband a note: "Don't look for me." But can this be obeyed? The friends are frightened and seem to suspect Ethan of something: they knew he envied his wife's literary success, saw the bruises on Sutton's body. And the day of her disappearance is suspicious - the anniversary of their child's death. The police begin an investigation and notice that many details of Ethan's and the missing woman's friends' stories do not match and even contradict each other. After all, everyone has skeletons in their closet...
