The Unquiet Bones

Under an old chapel in the forest, human bones are found, linked to a long-ago case of a missing young girl. Detective Jane Munro, pregnant and acutely aware of the value of life, hopes that this grim discovery will finally help the girl's family find the truth. But for a group of old friends, the so-called 'Six from Shorview', it threatens a terrifying revelation. Forty-seven years ago, they were simply scared; now, having become wealthy and not expecting the dark chapter of their past to reemerge, they fear also losing their reputation, loved ones, and friends.
