Once, a mother of twins decided to tell her daughters a touching story from her childhood.
Many years ago, in winter, when she was still small and lived in a steppe city in the south, a stray dog gave birth at... an abandoned construction site.
Ten puppies were born - there wasn't enough mother’s milk for all of them. Schoolgirl friends secretly took care of them away from their parents: they fed them, warmed their sleeping area, walked them when they grew a little... 
But soon an elderly neighbor found out about the pack nearby and began to threaten with the dog catching service.
The girls absolutely had to save the puppies from the cruel world of humans: find a home and a caring owner for each one...
