How to Love a Child

The main book of the outstanding Polish educator and physician Janusz Korczak, who dedicated his life to children. This is the first part of the tetralogy "How to Love a Child," first published in 1919 under the title "The Child in the Family."

Although the book was written in the early 20th century, the issues it addresses have not lost their relevance. Korczak teaches to love children with wise, meaningful love. Subtle observations, accuracy of remarks, honesty and openness, deep understanding of the child's soul amaze and provoke thought. Korczak emphasizes that a child, just like an adult, has the right to respect and their own opinion.

The author speaks from the position of a defender of children and their rights, walking together with the reader along the thorny path of development and maturation of a small person from birth to adolescence.
