Notes from the Green Grove. Time of Farewells

Everyone in the Green Grove knows that every beast that wrote a book can leave it at the Lisov Bookstore. This year, their family is preparing to celebrate the eightieth anniversary of the store. But in the midst of the jubilee, a huge branch of the oak suddenly breaks off, where it was located. This is the first sign of a terrible disease – the wood-eating fungus. It is impossible to get rid of it, and there is only one solution – to cut down the entire tree.

Little fox Ernest, son of Bartolomeo, is not ready to come to terms with this diagnosis. After all, the old oak holds not only works but also memories of his mother Annette. Now only the tree of wishes – the magical apple tree, the legend of which his mother once told him long ago – can work a miracle.

But where exactly to look for it in the forest? The young traveler and his companions have a difficult journey ahead: to overcome the sorrow of their losses and fears, to find comfort within themselves, and to bravely open a new chapter in their lives. After all, sometimes farewells are necessary too!
