On the Will in Nature

Arthur Schopenhauer (1788 - 1860) – an outstanding German philosopher-irrationalist.

The philosopher's work "On the Will in Nature," written in his mature years, serves as a supplement to his main work "The World as Will and Representation."
In it, Schopenhauer confirms his idea that the foundation of nature's existence lies in an unconscious world will, which manifests itself in everything and remains alien to everything.
