When the Cicadas Sing

In Emerson, a wealthy suburb of Boston, life flows quietly and measuredly until the body of a murdered girl—twenty-year-old Eden Perry—is found in one of the houses.
Three high school students come under suspicion, who were at her house the night... before: Hannah—a quiet girl with an unstable psyche; Jack—a cynical teenager with bad inclinations, pretending to be the leader; and Christopher—a self-conscious outsider desperately trying to fit in with the group. The wealthy parents of the teenagers are willing to do anything to protect their children, even if it means "sinking" someone else.
But the mother of the murdered girl is determined to find the truth. Will a random witness, who happened to be near the house where the tragedy took place that fateful night, be able to help her?
