Even before the Renaissance, Italy was famous for its skilled masters in various crafts. In particular, Venice was very famous for its glassblowers. However, in the early 13th century, all masters of this applied art were forced to move to the island of Murano. This event did not diminish their talent at all; on the contrary, it was on the island of Murano that the ancient glassmaking technology was formed and reached the highest artistic level. Murano glass became known throughout Europe and later became famous all over the world.
In the board game "Murano: Masters of Light", you will become a glassblower who will create incredibly beautiful creations from colored glass. To win the game, you need to earn the most lire, and you will earn them by making glass. At the start of your turn, you spin the arrow of the game board to the next sector, which indicates what color shards you will take from the supply. You can use them in one of three ways:

- Buy all shards of one color from one of the markets for 2 lire
- Sell any number of shards
Then you will start creating: if you have enough shards of the needed colors, as indicated on the "top" creation card in your hand, discard them to the supply and place the card in front of you. You earn as many lire for your work as there are free spaces on your player board.
