Sick Souls

When the official Yan Wei goes on a business trip to city K, he desires everything one expects from an ordinary business trip: to escape from daily routine, to receive per diem, to stay in a good hotel - of course, without excesses, but with all amenities and without fuss.
But this is where the problems begin. A free bottle of mineral water from the hotel minibar leads to sudden stomach pain and then to loss of consciousness.
It is only after three days that Yan Wei comes to his senses to find that he has been hospitalized in a local hospital for examination without any explanation.
But the days turn into days, and the unfortunate official receives neither a diagnosis nor a discharge date… only a diligent guide through the labyrinth of the medical system, through which he is now circulating.
Armed only with his common sense, Yan Wei embarks on a journey through the inner corners of the hospital in search of truth and common sense. Which, apparently, are lacking not only in patients but also in the medical staff.
