They were spoken by the mother of a missing tourist from Germany. "Yes." Kenna lost a loved one two years ago – he drowned. But she is not willing to lose her best friend, Mickey. And to do that, she needs to prevent her wedding. Mickey and her fiancé Jack decide to show Kenna the Bay of Sorrow – a secret spot where they surf with the Tribe: the mysterious Clement, good-natured Victor, reclusive Ryan, and their charismatic leader Sky. Exercises in "confronting fear" and overly close relationships within the Tribe only strengthen Kenna’s conviction: Mickey needs to be saved. But something makes her linger – at first, it’s the breathtaking waves, and then… does she feel, or do they know something about the disappearance of that girl from Germany? Now Kenna must not only save her friend from a huge mistake but also understand what really happened in the Bay…
