The Mystery of the City of Shakhtor

An exciting investigation in an alternative Soviet Union.

The 1980s.
After graduating from university, Nadia moves to the dying town of Shakhtor, which is suffering after a mine collapse, to work in the local archive.

But strange rules apply in the dormitory: do not go down to the basement baths at the sight of steam, do not open windows at night, do not run in the hallways. Know the rules of conduct during earthquakes.

Nadia is not allowed into the archive either: it is clear that something is being hidden in the town, and it seems that these secrets stretch far back into the past. Nadia is determined to find out what is going on — and starts by breaking the next rule: “Do not communicate with the tenant from room 116.”
