“Parallel Stories: Virus” – is the second part of the “Parallel Stories” series. This time you will find yourself in the distant future, torn apart by contradictions – on several levels at once.
You will encounter the stories of two people... on opposite sides of the barricades. Immerse yourself in the atmosphere of internal conflict, exacerbated by the epidemic situation. Every decision you make will not go unnoticed: it directly influences the endings, of which there are a total of 4 here. It’s up to you whether the characters can successfully achieve their goals and emerge alive from difficult circumstances...

The gameplay is quite simple, yet interesting. You will have plot and auxiliary cards at your disposal. Your task is to read the narrative carefully, paying attention to details and various hints, such as keywords. Some cards will contain clues, and sometimes there will be several. In that case, you will need to make a choice that will guide you along one of the possible paths. Be careful: time is limited, and a special track will help you keep track of it. And if it runs out before you find all necessary data, unfortunately, the success of the mission is unlikely...

The overall goal of all players is to guide the characters through dangers to the end of the story while staying alive. Participants study the plot cards and make decisions at crossroads of events, carefully weighing the condition of the characters and their surroundings.

The game ends when players choose one of the ending cards and read it. Some endings are obviously worse than others. You win if all the characters are alive in the ending you draw. Accordingly, if something has happened to them, you lose. However, after this, the game can be replayed with the same or a new deck to achieve a happy ending.
