After last year's upheaval in an abandoned mansion, Nadezhda Ogn-Dogonovskaya went to her father in the distant realms of the empire. But no matter how much the general wanted to keep his daughter with him, Nadezhda was eager to return to work and adventures. So, upon receiving a letter from a friend inviting her to a wedding, she promptly set off for Prussia. Who could have known that in the carriage she would immediately encounter an old acquaintance, none other than the exiled wizard from the capital, Andrey Golitsyn?
