Aleksandr Izrailevich Sharov (real name Sher (Shera) Izrailevich Nyurenberg) – a children's writer, fantasist, journalist, and war correspondent. He wrote with equal depth for both children and adults. His works are known not only in Russia but also abroad. The writer gained the most popularity for his fairy tales.
