Obsidian Heart. Mechanical Heart

Gwynein Garana is a young adept of the Academy of Sorcery. The girl is diligent but quite reckless. When during another assignment she gets into serious trouble, another adept is sent to help her, an older and more experienced one, but completely unbearable—Krismere VarDeik, whom Gwynein cannot stand with all her heart. Krismere faces a difficult choice: to try to save this "damsel in distress" or to kill her in accordance with the Academy's charter.
