Beware of Greeks bearing gifts

Right at a table in a capital café in broad daylight, Valeria Fyodorovna Kudimova dies. The investigation quickly reveals that just before her death, in the same café, she met with two young women – American Laura Cortina, established as a CIA operative, and Russian Vika Spesivtseva, who only worked for herself. Which of these two brought about her demise? Or perhaps there was a third party involved? Or, possibly, the reason and mystery of Kudimova's death lies in the past?
