Gerda has just transferred to a new school and hasn't had time to make friends yet. Suddenly, she finds a valentine in her locker. Of course, one of her classmates decided to make fun of the newcomer. But despite her doubts, the girl decides to reach out to the mysterious stranger whose nickname is written on the valentine…

The two start communicating and quickly grow closer, but their calls keep getting cut off, and attempts to meet end in failure. Will they be able to be together when it seems that even the Universe is against them?
