The great emperor Shelenar had three sons: the heir to the throne — Diamond, the middle one — Beryl, and the youngest — Agate, who was despised for his origins and excessive love for magic. Ten years ago, Diamond and... Beryl were poisoned at a ball. Only Beryl survived, but now due to the poison, he is constantly in danger. Agate, on the other hand, is unsuccessfully trying to control his power to save his brother and protect himself.

Meanwhile, the dreams that grant the ability to cast spells start to disappear. To avoid the collapse of the empire, the princes must find the ancient city where they hope to find a clue on how to restore magic. But on their journey, they cannot trust anyone, not even themselves.
