The Crime at Black Dudley

Marjorie Louise Ellingham is an English writer, belonging to the "golden age of English literature", recognized as the "queen of detective fiction" alongside Agatha Christie, Dorothy Sayers, and Ngaio Marsh. Ellingham is best known for her books featuring the gentleman detective Albert Campion. This volume includes the first three novels of her main series. When George Abbershaw is invited for a weekend at Black Dudley, he sees it as an opportunity to propose to Meggie Oliphant. But harmless entertainment for the guests turns into a deadly game, and the search for the criminal now occupies George more than the impending engagement.
