After her parents' divorce, eighteen-year-old Nastya, used to a luxurious life in the metropolis, moves to a provincial town. Her only friend becomes Arina – the star of the local institute.
Their friendship continues until Arina is found dead at the foot of the Screaming Tower – a mysterious old house shrouded in dark legends. Soon, one after the other, the girl's antagonists begin to die near the Tower. Rumors circulate that a vengeful ghost has taken residence in the town…
And then Nastya takes on the investigation, wishing not only to find out who is impersonating her dead friend but also to preserve her secrets at any cost. For only Nastya knows that behind the mask of a good girl lay a schemer willing to step on others to achieve her goals.
