Dr. Leng's Office

In the freezer of the American Museum of Natural History, a dead curator is found. In another state, a master craftsman who made copies of ancient relics is shot dead. Soon it becomes clear: the two murders are connected.
While the colleagues of FBI Special Agent Aloysius Pendergast are busy with these investigations, he himself is absorbed in another case — a case in which he has a personal interest. Pendergast's assistant, Constance, obsessed with revenge, has entered into a battle with Dr. Enoch Leng, a mad experimenter whose subjects are living people.
