The Song of the Cuckoo

Waking up after an accident, Triss realizes that something is wrong with her. She is constantly tormented by hunger, her younger sister is afraid of her, and her parents are always whispering behind closed doors. Moreover, Triss remembers almost nothing – neither the incident nor her past. She wants to reread her diary, but someone has torn out pages from it. Soon, Triss will find out that something far more terrible is happening to her than she could have imagined, and that she literally is not herself. In search of answers, she must embark on a dangerous journey and confront the Architect, who seeks to destroy her entire family. But will she make it in time? Triss's time is slipping away like sand through her fingers...
