Revenge Was Successfully Achieved

Some consider revenge a terrible sin, while others see it as just retribution. Revenge is the main theory put forward by investigator Vera Groznova as she investigates the murder of fitness trainer Viktor Marychev in the rural district center of... Kurayevsk. It seems clear right away why Marychev might have been avenged. There is even a main suspect. But… what initially seems clear may later turn out to be quite murky. Especially considering a series of strange events: three months before the murder, someone smashed Marychev's new car to pieces, and prior to that, a local wine store's warehouse was vandalized and a new house belonging to the local surgeon was burned down. Is there a connection between all these incidents? And if so, who is behind them?
