The collection includes cheerful and heartfelt poems by the wonderful poet and translator Sergey Vasilyevich Pogorelsky. All of them tell about simple yet important events for kids: here adults are playing with children in the yard, a mother is reflected... in the widely opened eyes of her baby, a father and son are skiing, a little girl has grown a big watermelon for everyone's delight… Surely, it is from such memorable little things that a truly happy childhood is made.
About the significant events in the lives of small people, the poet was helped to depict by the famous graphic artist Arkady Alexandrovich Lurie. His works are distinguished by a delicate emotionality, liveliness and thoughtfulness of images, magnificent drawing, and impeccable composition.
